Privacy

How we handle information collected through this website.

This policy covers the Datasynchrony website at datasynchrony.io. Datasynchrony is a Honolulu, Hawaii business. If you become a customer, the agreement between us also governs how we handle your business information.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you submit a form, we collect what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number (consult and quote requests), your message, and any screenshot you attach to a support request. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive personal information in a form or screenshot.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers process basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use it

  • To reply to your request and provide the services you ask about.
  • To keep reasonable business records, such as a record of the request.
  • To protect the website and our forms from spam and abuse.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is designed to work without cookies and without tracking individual visitors across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers on this site.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Turnstile looks at limited technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, to make that decision.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and handle your messages. They process information only to provide their service to us:

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and provides security, analytics, and bot protection.
  • Resend delivers form submissions to us as email.
  • Microsoft 365 receives and stores our email, including form submissions.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete them. We keep information about customers for as long as the customer relationship and our legal and accounting obligations require.

Your choices and requesting deletion

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Use the contact form, say what you would like, and use the same email address you used before so we can match it. We will reply by email. We may need to keep some information where the law requires it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us, including encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Other websites

This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
